Four years ago, on the authority of a single amora and against the view of all other Sages who discussed the matter (Sanh. 110a), you passed a "midrashic judgement" - despite that the quoted expression is a non sequitur of itself. If that was not arrogance, what is? I don't know your age and so I hope that was/this is a youthful arrogance, which is excusable, since it normally passes, after serving its purpose.
