Last week was the time to celebrate Clinton’s loss (not un-anticipated, but still pleasantly surprising); now we can advance to the dread or promise of Trump’s presidency.

I fully had expected her campaign to be nasty, sexist and warmongering, but she chose to amplify bigotry as well; it may take some time to tone down the rhetoric and clear the air. (Спецоперация by Comey-FBI left a bad taste with lasting consequences; there is still time for Obama to at least fire Comey.)

Т.е. за первую неделю вырисовывается некое маневрирование между вторым и третьим вариантами, что может повышать вероятность того, что в конечном итоге у Трампа  окажется просто неужасное средненькое антиклимактическое позиционирование.
